For the Love of Quilting

Becky Anderson (pictured above) loves quilting blankets and serving the community. When she and some of the members of the Diamond Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church heard about Frieda’s Healing Center, she wanted to help.

Becky called us and asked if she could make quilts for the women and children who resides at Frieda’s Healing Center. When she understood the needs of our clients and children, she and another church member, Mary Vermeeren, decided to make bags fill with toys, blankets, and toiletries to give to the clients and their children. On January 25th she visited Cleone’s Closet Resource Center and donated the bags.
