Messages 3 and 4
Message #3. Don’t give in to other people’s expectation of you.
Dare to be different. Dare to change what always was or is. Just because it has never been done before, does not mean that it can’t be done at all. Understand that at times people will base their expectations of you on their own experiences and agenda. Make sure that you rely on My agenda for you and My expectations of you. I am your guide. I am your Defender.
Remember: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.” -Proverbs 3:5
Message #4: Surround yourself with people who believe in Me, in you, our mission and read about those who have gone on before you. I will send supportive people to you. Don’t be afraid to have people in your life who are more competent or qualified than you are in certain areas. They can point out challenge areas in your activities and agenda. Remember anyone can teach you even if they are younger, less educated or less experienced than you. Draw on the examples of people who have gone on before you. Read about those individuals who called on Me to help them and recognize what I did for them and through them. I am your Teacher.
Remember: “…Since you are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses…throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles… run with perseverance the race marked out for you.” -Hebrews 12:1
